Josh Baity, Network Analyst

Provides end-to-end project engineering and project management for campus data/video network projects. Assesses network design and operating characteristics for cost effectiveness, security, scalability and performance.

Responsible for LAN/WAN/WLAN administration, systems security, hardware maintenance and operations support for a multi-vendor network infrastructure. Act as point of escalation for advanced network support. Researches and implements hardware and software solutions for improving network integrity, security, performance and availability for a more efficient delivery of services to campus faculty, staff and students.

Responsibilities include the provisioning and management of all portions of a multi-vendor network infrastructure including equipment from Cisco, Aruba, Juniper and Brocade.
