Applications  Maintained  by  NCS 5 Day Folder- The "5Day" folder is a shared folder that allows users to save documents for file transfer between department and employees. Access is limited to BHSU users, including all students, faculty, and staff. For this reason, it is important not to store sensitive/personal information, such as name, address, social security number, grades, etc. at this location. Please see document titled "READ THIS IF YOU HAVE FILES HERE.txt" located on the 5Day folder. Files will be deleted each Monday without notification. Do not store your only copy of the document at this location.   Arrival- Software application used by the receiving department for transaction of packages and tracking for deliveries. Access is limited to University Support Services personnel.   Backup Procedures- Each server is backed up on a scheduled basis to ensure no data loss in the event of a disaster. It is important that individual users backup critical documents on their workstations. Many computers have CD writers that allow backups to be written to CD. For information regarding how to backup your critical files, please contact NCS.   BlackBaud- Access to BlackBaud is limited to only those personnel working within the office of Institutional Advancement. This software provides tracking capabilities for alumni, gifts, and scholarship fundraising.   ChemSW- Software application used by the science department for inventory management and informational database for chemicals.   ETS- Software application used by the College of Education for development of teaching evaluations.   File/Folder Shares- Files and folders can be shared for departmental use when multiple people need access to the same files on a regular basis.   Financial Edge- Access to BlackBaud FE is limited to only those personnel working within Student Financial Services or a related office.   FoodCo- Provides access to inventory management tracking for Dining Services. Access is limited to select Dining Services employees.   KeyFile- Houses student records and transcripts for transfer between BHSU and other state institutions. Access is limited to Enrollment Center employees and employees requiring direct access.   Maximo- Maximo is a database driven software package that tracks work orders for Facility Services and provides. Access is limited to Facility Services employees.   Network Printing- Offices requiring shared printers/access to shared printers should contact NCS for printer requirements and procedures.   Passport- TN3270 emulation software used to gain access to accounting information and purchasing information. Technical problems, such as installation, configuration, and connection should be directed to NCS. Each user requires a unique identifier (LU Name) to gain access to the system. LU's are controlled by BIT in Pierre. Please allow a waiting period of up to two weeks for installation and configuration. Login access questions should be directed to the help desk at 6580.   Student Access- Student Access is a database driven software package used by Student Support Services.   Wintegrate (Colleague) - Wintegrate provides terminal access to a central mainframe. This software allows for BHSU employees to gain access to student records, class registrations, and grades. Technical problems, such as installation, configuration, and login access questions should be directed to the help desk at 6580.
