Computers in the Library
The Library has a number of desktops and laptops for checkout (you need your Buzz card to check out a laptop). Each computer is loaded with the Microsoft Office Suite. You are also welcome to use your own personal laptop with the free Library wireless Internet. If you are using a library computer do not save anything onto the hard drive.
The library has two black and white printers and one color printer - each semester students get $8.00 for printing (this does not include copying). There are three copiers in the library - two on the main floor and one on the second floor.
There are two scanning stations next to Digital Media Resource Services. Please remember to delete anything you have scanned before logging off the scanning computer.
The library does not have a public fax machine - to fax something please go to the Information Desk in the Student Union.
The microfilm reader is in the back of the main floor of the library. Patrons may use this reader to look at microfilm and microfiche (note: you may also scan and print images from the reader).
Information and Instructional Technology Services provides general technology support to the Library and students as they use library technology resources. If you need assistance with technology while in the library, visit the Help Desk. The Help Desk is located at:
Directions to Network and Computing Services Help Desk: From the entry of the library you will notice a stairwell – please proceed down the stairs – when you get to the basement make a right and follow the signs to the Help Desk.
