Technology Information

BHSU Login Information

If you need your BHSU, Desire2Learn, or WebAdvisor username or password, or your library barcode, go to the Login Help page.

Desire2Learn (D2L)

All online BHSU courses are delivered via D2L. BHSU offers online video D2L tutorials if you need assistance.

WebAdvisor

WebAdvisor is your student information portal.

BHSU Email

Find official University correspondence in your BHSU email account.

OneDrive

OneDrive can be used for trasferring or storing large files.

Computers in the Library

The Library has a number of desktops and laptops for checkout (you need your Buzz card to check out a laptop). Each computer is loaded with the Microsoft Office Suite. You are also welcome to use your own personal laptop with the free Library wireless Internet. If you are using a library computer do not save anything onto the hard drive.

Printing/Copying

The library has two black and white printers and one color printer - each semester students get $8.00 for printing (this does not include copying). There are three copiers in the library - two on the main floor and one on the second floor.

Scanning

There are two scanning stations next to Digital Media Resource Services. Please remember to delete anything you have scanned before logging off the scanning computer.

Fax Machine

The library does not have a public fax machine - to fax something please go to the Information Desk in the Student Union.

Microfilm Reader

The microfilm reader is in the back of the main floor of the library. Patrons may use this reader to look at microfilm and microfiche (note: you may also scan and print images from the reader).

Technology Support

Information and Instructional Technology Services provides general technology support to the Library and students as they use library technology resources. If you need assistance with technology while in the library, visit the Help Desk. The Help Desk is located at:

Directions to Network and Computing Services Help Desk: From the entry of the library you will notice a stairwell – please proceed down the stairs – when you get to the basement make a right and follow the signs to the Help Desk.

eBooks

The Library has many eBooks availabe through the Ebsco eBooks service. Downloading to a portable device is not supported.
