American Association of University Women (Spearfish Branch)

The AAUW collection contains records from 1927 to the present. Included is a history of the Spearfish Branch that spans 1927 - 1957, highlights of the 1964 - 1982 years, and an AAUW history written in 1988. Correspondence dates from 1971 - 1990. Minutes of meetings date from 1927 -1991. There are also program booklets, by-laws, obituaries, treasurer’s reports, and scholarship information.

AAUW programs for the 1931-1932 meeting year included such topics as: "Purpose of the AAUW", "The Education Work of the AAUW", and "International Relations."
