How can I get a library card
if I am not associated with BHSU?
You can get a library card meant for community users
(or local patrons). This card is issued to anyone
who is not associated with Black Hills State University
and resides in Spearfish or nearby areas. Please download
and fill out Community User Form and bring it
back to the circulation desk with a photo ID (such
as driver's license). There is NO charge for issuing
a library card to community users. You must be at
least 14 years of age to get a community user card.
Patrons between 14 and 18 years of age must have a
parental signature on the Community User Form.

Community (non-BHSU) users are not allowed to renew
an item.
